1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to the Apps with SaaS website at appswithsaas.com and general business enquiries sent to Apps with SaaS. Individual Apps with SaaS products may have their own privacy notice where a product handles information differently. A product-specific notice supplements this policy for that product.

Apps with SaaS is an Australian digital-products business. We aim to handle personal information consistently with applicable Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.

2. Personal information we collect

Information you provide

When you use our enquiry form or contact us, we may collect information such as:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the outcome area or enquiry type you select;
• the contents of your message and later correspondence; and
• information you choose to provide when asking for support, product information or a project discussion.

Technical information

Our website and form infrastructure may record technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as an IP address, browser or device information, referring page, date and time, and security or spam-prevention metadata.

3. How we collect and hold information

We collect personal information primarily from you when you submit a website form, email us, ask for support or otherwise communicate with Apps with SaaS. Technical information may be collected automatically by the website hosting and security infrastructure when you visit or submit a form.

Website form submissions are handled through our hosting infrastructure and business correspondence is handled through our business email service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

4. Why we collect, use and disclose information

We may use personal information to:

• receive, assess and respond to enquiries;
• provide product information, support or requested business communications;
• understand requested outcomes and improve our website or services;
• operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the website;
• prevent spam, fraud, abuse and security incidents;
• keep appropriate business and support records; and
• meet legal, regulatory or dispute-resolution obligations.

We do not use an enquiry email address for unrelated marketing merely because you contacted us. Where marketing consent is required, we will seek it separately.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Apps with SaaS. Current website-level providers include:

• Netlify for website hosting and form handling; and
• Google Workspace for Apps with SaaS business email and correspondence.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties when required or authorised by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Apps with SaaS, our users or others.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas processing

Some of our technology service providers operate global infrastructure. Personal information may therefore be handled or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries in which those providers or their subprocessors operate. The locations used by cloud providers can change over time.

Where Australian privacy law applies to an overseas disclosure, we take the steps required of us by that law. If a particular product materially changes where or how personal information is handled, its product privacy notice will explain that additional handling.

7. Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including support, business-record, security, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. When information is no longer reasonably required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

Access to business systems is limited to authorised use. We also use platform security controls and spam-prevention measures appropriate to the website and enquiry process.

8. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

The website may use browser storage, cookies or similar technologies where needed for core operation, security or user preferences. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other tracking that requires additional notice or choice, we will provide that information and update this policy as appropriate.

9. Automated decisions

We do not currently use personal information submitted through the Apps with SaaS parent website to make solely automated decisions that significantly affect a person's rights or interests.

10. Access and correction

You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request a correction if you believe it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Email hello@appswithsaas.com with enough information for us to identify and respond to your request. We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making a correction.

11. Privacy questions and complaints

If you have a privacy concern, email hello@appswithsaas.com and use the subject line Privacy or Privacy complaint. Please explain the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable period.

If Australian privacy law applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our products, service providers, legal obligations or information-handling practices change. The current version will be published at appswithsaas.com/privacy with its effective date.
